Who we are

This website and the Guardians portal are run by Guardians Human Resources (OPC) Private Limited, Office No. G-68, Cinewonder Mall, Ghodbunder Road, Kapurbawdi Circle, Thane West, Maharashtra 400607 (“Guardians”, “we”). Questions about your data: hr@guardiansindia.com.

What we collect

• Account details — name, email, mobile number, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and for colleges and companies the organisation’s details.
• Career information you add — profile, resumes, applications, expected salary and notice period.
• Documents you upload or are asked to upload, such as ID proof or education documents.
• Messages sent through the contact form.
• Technical records — sign-in times, IP address and browser type, kept for security and to investigate misuse.

Why we use it

• To match job seekers with vacancies and share suitable candidates with employers who have asked us to recruit.
• To run placement drives requested by colleges and hiring requests from companies.
• To send you updates about your applications, requests and documents.
• To keep the service secure and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.

Who can see it

Our recruitment team can see what you submit. A company sees a candidate’s profile, contact details and resume only after our team has chosen to share that candidate for a specific vacancy, and sees a requested document only after our team has checked and approved it. We use service providers (such as hosting and email) that process data on our behalf under contract.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active. Applications and documents are kept for as long as needed for the recruitment they relate to and our records, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can see and correct most of your details yourself under Profile. You may also ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing hr@guardiansindia.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; uploaded files are stored privately and are never publicly reachable; access is limited by account role and recorded. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you do not use elsewhere.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and remember your light/dark theme choice in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell registered users of any significant change.
